CPOMH = CHOMP, LATYL = TALLY, DALEDO = LOADED, CCANEH = CHANCE — Giving us: CMTLLOAE
Clue/Question: When King Arthur went to the desert, he visited the – – –
Answer: CAMEL LOT
(I love the smell of bad puns in the morning! It smells like . . . camel dung. There were no new clue words today, however three of the jumbles did come up as new. We’ve seen “latyl” before. I loved the jumble for “loaded”. “DALEDO” made me think of the expression: HOLY TOLEDO! Which has been around quite a while, but was the favorite of Max Klinger, on M*A*S*H*. A great TV show. The answer letter layout was alright, but would’ve been better if they’d have switched “tally” and “chomp”. But, with even doing that, the great cartoon makes the answer pretty obvious. Before I read the cartoon, I was thinking the king was one of the three wise men. And, for whatever reason, my mind was going to camel toe. Well, we all know the reason for my thinking. I just have a dirty mind. Thankfully, our Jumble friends don’t! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Nothing like a good pun to start the day!

It took me a long time to get LOADED (great jumble indeed). The final answer took a bit of time too. When I got it, I thought “of course! why did I not think of that?” Very nice pun.
OK, I’m officially on board with YUR’s Stinky Pun description. I’ve only been doing these since last summer, and there have been good ones in the interim, but today’s was the one that finally pushed me there! 😀
