Clue/Question: The bull would lose the arm-wrestling match because he wasn’t – – –
Answer: STRONG AS AN OX
(Very cute! And, I guess this answers one question. Is it better to be STRONG LIKE BULL or as STRONG AS AN OX? All of today’s clue words are old favorites, but three of the jumbles came up as new. They’ve definitely used “ginaa” in the past. The answer letter layout was a beautifully cryptic jumble. It took me a minute or two to come up with the answer, mainly because of the great answer letter layout. Great animated farm animals. Lots of fun. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Very nice! I had no trouble with the first three words but SALMON took me a while to figure out. For the final answer, I got STRONG right away. I started typing ON for the second word but the answer struck me as I was doing that. It all went very smoothly for me today (barring the little hiccup with SALMON).
Great. You solved the puzzle beautifully.
Well, I’ve been gone and have caught up to today (it is actually Friday/2-19).
I got the clue words quickly. Totally stuck on the answer. Until I hit on the thought that Ox might be one of the two letter words. Then it still took a bit! Played with all of the other two letter words I could find. Finally got it! Great puzzler!!!
So, question, was that a bull and an ox arm wrestling? Please don’t throw things at me! 🙂 LL
Yes, LindaLee. That WAS a bull and an ox arm wrestling! Great cartoon! — YUR
