Answer: GNAWING AT HIM
(Who doesn’t love dogs behaving as humans??? A very cute jumble. All of today’s clue words were old favorites, but all of their jumbles came up as new. My eyes weren’t focusing well this morning and YINRA kept looking like VINRA for a few seconds. So, it took me a few looks to get “rainy”. The answer letter layout was very good, but, due to the clue/question, I figured the last two words were AT HIM. And GNAWING made the pun! The cartoon was MGM and Warner Bros caliber. Lots of fun! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

This was an easy jumble. I got all the words instantly. For the final solution, for some reason I thought the last two words were “AT IT”. I quickly realized that there were three letters in the third word, so “IT” wouldn’t fit. Then, I read the dialog (typically, I just read the clue/question first) and, after a little bit of thought, typed in AT HIM for the last two words. Then I typed in ING as the last three letters of the first word. GNAWING then became obvious. Even with all this, it took only 25 seconds to solve the jumble.
