Visual Description: No show how dough go . . . for nouveau bro.
NAKEL = ANKLE, SOKDU = KUDOS, PUTEYD = DEPUTY, YONWAH = ANYHOW — Giving us: ANKKODETNOW
Clue/Question: The bread company’s top secret recipe was – – –
Answer: “KNEAD“ TO KNOW
(Doh! I can’t really say stinky when it comes to fresh-baked bread, now can I! I guess it’s just more of a homophonic pun. There were no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles appear to be new. I can vouch that we have definitely seen “yonwah” before. Did you know that the singular “kudo” is technically incorrect, but is now considered “acceptable” in today’s English? The answer letter layout was a marvelous jumble. Despite ending in NOW, I don’t think it gave anything away. It reads more as now . . . anyhow. The cartoon was fun! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

I liked today’s cartoon; Rosie doesn’t look impressed and she’s really working over that blob of dough….
