(Not bad. A mild pun, at best. Hey, I heard a good one today on that extended Today Show. They showed a clip of some guy deep sea fishing who had hooked a 200 lb. marlin . . . maybe it was a swordfish. Anyway, it jumped out of the water, right at the guy! With the guy’s quick reactions, it just barely missed impaling him, and the fish fell back into the water and got away. Al Roker quipped: “If that had happened to me . . . I’d be chicken of the sea!” Whadaya think? There’s a future Jumble in that, no? Well, anyway, there you go. I’ve made sure you guys got a two-fer today. Lucky you! There were no new clue words today. I was thinking maybe “fixate” might be new, but no. All of the jumbles came up as new though. The answer letter layout was good, but with the answer block layout, and all the calendars in the cartoon, the answer was pretty much a gimme. I like how Jeff worked in the Jumble a Day Calendar, available at . . . Ah, look it up yourself. I’m not getting a commission, or anything. Actually, I don’t think they offer a calendar. Jumble folks do jumbles…dumb after dumb
Hey Jeff! Grand jumbler! A page-a-day will be great. I’ll never get anything done!!!! Just my jumbles.
Found out today that my handy-dandy Ace Spelling thingy does not know it all. My answer for the first jumbled word was YUCKY! But the Ace said — no word! So I finished up the other jumbled words and figured out the puzzler answer, The first word had to be YUCKY…and it was! Woohoo!!
