“If you give a man an answer, all he gains is a little fact. But give him a question and he’ll look for his own answers.” — Patrick Rothfuss
(M-m-m-maybe. IF the question is important, or is of interest, to him. This quote comes off as a little too maharishi/yoda-ishy for my tastes. If a man has a question already, he wants a damn answer, not another question. Yes, there are merits to figuring things out on your own, but unless the subject is going to be your life’s work there are issues of practicality that mitigate those merits. The accumulation of little facts makes up a large part of what we like to call knowledge. And, knowledge is a good thing. Right, Martha? Just be careful where you get your facts. I hear FOX News like to make up their own. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
