Answer:  DINOMIGHT

(Where is Jimmy “J.J.” Walker when you need him???  This made for a great pun!  M-80s, sometimes referred to as blockbusters, were alleged to be a quarter stick of dynamite!  But, I’ve also heard that that is an urban legend.

We had no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles came up as new.  We’ve seen “tepico” before.  Here’s a – mildly – fun fact for you:  just as in today’s Jumble, “poetic” follows “podium” in the ralis95 clue word database!  The jumble for “podium” was the only one I didn’t get automatically.  I had to look at it for half a minute.  The answer letter layout was a Top Box Office winner!  A beautiful jumble.  The cartoon is a lot of fun.  From all the glasses, I’m assuming the viewers are watching it in 3-D.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Podium got me for a bit, but POETIC almost got ranked diabolical!! Then there was the puzzler answer. I was looking for an ING ending word. And I got nowhere!! Then I saw MIGHT. Woot! Solved. Good one guyz!!! LL

I had a hard time with this one as well. Not sure if it was because it was hard or that I took 3 weeks off from doing the Jumble. PODIUM and LUNGE for some reason. Happy New Year all!

One of my friends had trouble with PODIUM and POETIC and another had trouble with LUNGE and POETIC. Both of them gave up on the final answer. So, it was not an easy Jumble by any means. I had some trouble with the final answer but then, once I typed in DINO for the first part, MIGHT became obvious. Would have been real hard if I hadn’t figured out the first part.
