Answer:  JUMBLEAYA

(The restaurant was having a little fun with our buddies!  We have another new clue word today, in “doughy”.  Put down the eggnog, ralis95!  It’s once again, time to update your world famous clue word database.  Two of the other jumbles came up as new, with “kalye” having been used before.  The answer letter layout was a nifty jumble, that didn’t give the answer away.  You had to pick up on the dialog and the menu to get the answer.  It looks like the waitress is even holding a newspaper, showing the Jumble.  Lot’s of fun!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Unc Rave, I’m mighty impressed that Dave & Jeff got the authentic south Louisiana pronunciation of the spécialité Créole, jambalaya! On the bayou, the first two syllables never rhyme with “gamble,” they rhyme with “jumble.” C’est si bon … they’re makin’ me hungry!
Best holiday wishes to you and yours, Unc Rave. Your comments and forum are like a Xmas present every day. I can’t thank you enough.
    RHO

I hadn’t heard of DOUGHY before – just guessed it.

OK, who tried to unjumble the words on menu first, like I did? Also, looking at the menu, those are the ingredients of jambalaya, so that was another clue for me.
Doughy was tough for me; I couldn’t visualize the word and for the first time, I had to write it out on a piece of paper to make sure it was actually the word.
