(Nice, stinky pun! It didn’t hit me instantly. I had to think on it a minute. All of today’s clue words are old favorites. However, all of the jumbles appear to be new. The answer letter layout was another great jumble. So many vowels! The cartoon looks like an attempt at the television medical drama: House. But, Dr. Gregory House usually sported a three to four day growth of stubble! The general shape of the face, and the cane, lead me to believe that this is based on the show that I once so enjoyed. I always had the hots for Dr. Lisa Cuddy. There was no mistaking her for a boy! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Splendid idea! I may have to cut and paste this into a post, boss. I’m not sure how many people take the time to read the Recent Comments. — YUR
Nice! I like this idea. Very cool.
I enjoy doing the words first; then reading the cartoon and solving- the cartoons also have clues in them. My husband just tries to solve it by reading the cartoon. After I’ve finished we compare notes to see if he got it easy or had no clue! It’s a bit of brain exercise. I like scrabble, too. It’s 13 years since I had a brain aneurysm.
I like doing the words first. I do it primarily to exercise the brain, I like the feeling of sorting out a word just by staring at the letters. The cartoon puns are just gravy.
