Visual Description: Classic American male teen.
NERTD = TEND, GIRDN = GRIND, HAYMME = MAYHEM, SECASC = ACCESS — Giving us: TNDGRIMAYAES
Clue/Question: How the teenager killed time while the internet was down.
Answer: “DAYSTREAMING“
(ZITS is one of my favorite comic strips. Jeremy, the main teen character, reminds me of my son, who’s now 28, but still acts a lot like Jeremy.
All of today’s clue words were old favorites again, but all of the jumbles came up as new. The word “access” is another word that spells out alphabetically! The answer letter layout definitely did not gave away anything today. It made you think. I decided that the 12-letter made up word either ended with a Y, or an ING. When I decided on the ING it freed up the Y for DAY. People stream the internet, and with Jeremy staring off into space, it didn’t take too much to come up with the pun. An all around great Jumble, from two highly talented cartoonists. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
