A President Who Baffles Us, Colltalers

Hard to guess. A common denominator about President Obama’s two-term in office could be its unpredictability. It was again on display last week, when he buried the TransCanada’s Keystone XL Pipeline project. Because it could have gone either way.
In fact, less than two years to the end of his White House residence, the president has already left a bewildering trail of seemingly contradictory decisions, which to some have been mostly liberal biased and to others, just plain, and deeply, disappointing.
That’s a premature and unfair assessment of his presidency, to be sure, as it’s been ludicrous the profoundly racist abhorrence he’s faced throughout his terms, mainly from extreme right-wing segments of American society, but also from the Republican Party.
Having received one of the greatest popular mandates of any high-office holder, on the account of his personal trajectory and gifted oratorical skills, the…

Answer:  STRIKING

(I don’t know.  It’s kind of hard to pin down.  Maybe it’s because he has forehead to spare, or I just don’t like his frame, but I’m not seeing it.  He looks like a bit of a turkey to me.  Maybe the ladies just like his approach, or were impressed with his ham bone.  I think these ladies just have their minds in the gutters, and want to get him split between the bedposts, if you ask me.

We did not have any new clue words today, but we did have three new jumbles.  They have used “glico” before.  The answer letter layout was a beautiful jumble.  It would make you think if you didn’t pick up on the pun right off the hook.  The cartoon is pretty cool.  Right up Jeff’s ally.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

The mystery of life isn’t a problem to solve, but a reality to experience.”   —   Source Obscure

(I can agree with this statement, to an extent.  I think it’s always healthy to question, and to want to know.  That’s why we have egg-heads working over at CERN‘s Large Hadron Collider, in Franco-Switzerland.  They were able to create the Higgs Boson, which is huge if you are into Particle Physics and Quantum Mechanics.  It’s pretty cool stuff, but WAY over yer uncle’s head.  The metaphysical has plenty of philosphical theories that are equally beyond my ken.  I generally let others worry about that, and just try to enjoy the beauty of the here and now.  I’m writing this, you’re reading this, and all is peachy.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
