Miguel de Cervantes

Miguel de Cervantes (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Finally, from so little sleeping and so much reading, his brain dried up and he went completely out of his mind.”   —   Cervantes

(There seems to be a few variants of this quotation.  Perhaps, it is due to translation interpretations.  After looking at a number of Cervantes quotes, I’d be willing to bet that Freud was a big fan!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Fantastic. Along with Shakespeare and Luis de Camões, Miguel de Cervantes forms the triad of giants writers of the era and beyond. Each redefined his respective language. Old Bill became more prevalent (and is the more prolific) in part because English came to dominate the world. It’s interesting to trace its evolution to the top of the reap in the context of the of armies and armadas who spoke each one of the three languages. Cheers
