It sounds plausible enough tonight, but wait until tomorrow.  Wait for the common sense of the morning.”   —   H.G. Wells

(It took some doing to get this one going.  I found it a fairly challenging solve.  It’s a great quote too.  Regardless of whether you’re a night or morning person, a lot of the most fantastic ideas you come up with at night . . . just don’t hold up under the morning light.  Maybe, it’s just because you’re a little tired, but you can never discount the effects of alcohol!  I can still remember a time when I was in my 20s.  I was out drinking with a couple of co-worker buds, Mike and Brian.  We were all eligible bachelors and we all had female co-workers that we were very interested in.  I think the plan had something to do with each of us chatting up the others desire, so that it would be a no-brainer in getting them to date us.  Oh, Brian is such a great guy.  He’s got a lot of potential.  He’s great with animals and children.  And, he really likes you!  Things to that effect.  We left that night thinking we were in like Flynn with these girls.  I’m pretty sure I even dreamed of it that night.  The next work day we saw some holes in our plans, and scrapped the whole thing.  To this day, I think the general plan had its merits, but I think it’s the kind of thing that women can pull off better than guys.  They’re generally more subtle, while guys are less so.  And, I think guys are also more gullible than girls, in these matters.  I wonder whatever happened to Big Mike and Brian – the Ratman?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
