“I know I’m small but I’m also big. I’m big because I’m connected to the universe, and the universe is connected to me.” — Neil deGrasse Tyson
(I just KNEW this was part of a larger quote! My man, Tyson, LOVES to talk! LOL! I think some of it is because Neil loves to hear himself talk. The other part though is that he loves to impart his knowledge upon others. And, that is the part for which I’m grateful for. Smart people are very entertaining. Especially, well rounded smart people. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Single-handedly, Neil’s doing more for the (positive) popularization of science than a lot of serious efforts to get kids interested in discovery and history have been able to accomplish. The generation that he and Bill Nye are inspiring is really lucky to have these two baseball-loving, regular but not really guys everywhere, talking about why science is important, and why it’s way more relevant than religion. You’re right, he loves the sound of his own voice, but I, for one, would shut up anytime he’d be speaking. Btw, his podcast is hilarious. Have you watch the one with Edward Snowden? Great.
