(I’m not so sure the young folk could get this answer! It’s a bit of a stretch . . . even for us older folks. It’s definitely a visual gag. The one guy is standing in a hole . . . about shin deep. I can dig it though! There were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbles came up as new, for me. The answer letter layout probably stumped a number of you. There used to be a TV show in the ’60s called Shindig. It was kind of like American Bandstand and Hullabaloo. It was a Pop/Rock music variety show, with go-go dancers and stuff . . . I think.
