Answer:  DEAD WRONG

(It’s getting harder and harder for me to muster any enthusiasm for yet another zombie Jumble.  They almost always result in an answer that contains the word DEAD.  And, death is kind of a downer for me!  I guess it plays really well with the *kids* today, with all the zombie video games, and movies, and that show “The Walking Dead“.  But, that junk doesn’t interest me anymore.  Once upon a time I was a fan of the “Night of the Living Dead” movies, but I also used to enjoy auto racing . . . when I was a kid.  Nowadays, I’d rather watch grass grow than watch cars forever going around an oval.  I don’t begrudge those of you who enjoy these endeavors, I just don’t find them very compelling.  This concludes yer uncle’s cranky complaint.

There were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbles came up as new.  I had a little difficulty in getting “galley”.  The answer letter layout was super . . . again!  And, the zombie cartoon was top-notch.  Be well and do good things, for family, friends and stranger alike.  The easiest good thing you can do is to just smile.  It costs you nothing, it makes you feel good, and you could make someone’s day.  Maybe even save someone’s life!)   —   YUR

Couldn’t agree more on both counts. Zombie movies reached a saturation at least a decade ago, but apparently few got the memo. And F1 auto racing was thrilling when Ayrton Sena was alive and Nigel Mansel and others were still interested in risking their lives to win, not just doing it to collect points and paychecks, and for the jet set lifestyle. Of course it was always stupid but damn interesting too. Now the oval circuits have always put me to sleep, period. Cheer up, you’re not alone.

I will watch street races, like Le Mans! I need to see the occasional right turn! — YUR
