Visual Description: Laboring lecture.
SARBH = BRASH, SOKIK = KIOSK, NACGEH = CHANGE, LASWUR = WALRUS — Giving us: RASKIOCNGWLS
Clue/Question: The instructor for the job training course taught the – – –
Answer: WORKING CLASS
(Not all that easy! Was it? The clue words weren’t new, or anything, but three of the jumbles were. We’ve seen “sokik” before. The answer letter layout was marvelously cryptic! In my opinion, it gave nothing away. I wouldn’t say that the word CLASS was conspicuously missing from the cartoon, and clue/question, but the use of the word COURSE was very deliberate. I figured that the first word had to end in ING, so that kind of put me on the right path. I bet some of you were in a state of flux, trying to come up with something related to welding. Right? That was my first inclination, but I didn’t dwell on it for long. Would it be wrong to say the cartoon was workman-like? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
