Clue/Question: When Michael Collins piloted the Apollo 11 command module on 7-21-69, he was – – –
Answer: OVER THE MOON
(Very nice tribute to man’s landing on the moon! Our friend, Michael Collins, was the driver though and he never got the opportunity that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin did, which was to actually walk on the moon. But, he was very instrumental to the mission, and was a great astronaut in his own right. He is still alive and kicking, at 84, and will turn 85 on Halloween!
No new clue words today, but all the jumbles came up as new. The answer letter layout was nicely cryptic, and gave nothing away. I like when the answers are good figurative and literal puns! Great cartoon. Today’s comments are the color of green cheese! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
