Clue/Question: The owners of the new plant nursery had no plans to ever move and wanted to – – –
Answer: PUT DOWN ROOTS
(This one kind of rings familiar! I think we’ve had one of a very similar nature, some time in the past. No new clue words today, but three of the jumbles appear to be new. We’ve definitely seen “snutt” before. I like seeing words like “adjoin” and “parody”! The answer letter layout was a marvelous jumble. Nicely cryptic. The answer was pretty clear though. However, I was first thinking SET DOWN ROOTS, for some reason. PUT is better. Very entertaining cartoon. Nicely detailed, with a clever business name. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. Every time I click on one of the Getty images – by mistake – it messes up the spacing of the post, and I have to go back and edit it. Very annoying. And, I wish WordPress would go back to the original Related articles preview. The current way, which they have tried before, really sucks! — YUR
