(Maybe the guys were inspired by a George Thorogood, song for today’s Jumble!  Hey, why not?  They’re hip and happenin’ kind of guys!  We have a new clue word today!  ralis95 will have to update his world famous clue word database for the word “uneven”.  Kind of a cheap addition, but it’s legit!  All of the jumbles are coming up as new also.  The answer letter layout was swell, but it’s kind of hard to hide “lovey-dovey”.  The clue word letter groupings were very much appreciated.  Saves me a little time and effort.  Fun cartoon.  I like the old guy in the background, sitting on the park bench, feeding the pigeons.  I think it adds a nice touch.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

For some reason, New Yorkers detest pigeons. They’re even called rats with wings. There is indeed an overpopulation of them, and they do make a mess of public spaces, but still. A few years back, there was a movement to give them pills, but it didn’t go too far. Also, someone once told me, but I have never been too eager to prove it, that in certain parts of the city one can find dozens of pigeon heads; as it turns out, hawks hunt them and decapitate them midair. Sorry about the gory. On a sunnier note, the disappearing art of pigeon training used to be widespread in this city. Mike Tyson was/is an aficionado and used to train them. Lastly, I don’t know why on Game of Thrones they use crows as messengers. They’re both extremely smart species. Well well. Thanks for this post. Cheers
