Clue/Question: After seeing how angry the male cow was, she decided to – – –
Answer: STEER CLEAR
(“Male cow” is kind of an oxymoron, but I think most of us knew what the boys were getting at. They couldn’t very well say bull, when it’s a steer, and clearly they couldn’t say steer! There were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbles came up as new. I struggled a bit with “hereby”. Probably because it is a compound word. The answer letter layout was also a very fine jumble. I don’t think there was anything obvious about it. The cartoon was a lot of fun. Maybe not for the steer but . . . Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
