Answer:  AT THE DROP OF A HAT

(I don’t think I can ever remember a six word answer before!  This one took a bit of thinking, for your aging Uncle.  There were no new clue words today.  As a matter of fact, today’s clue words all seem to be old Jumble favorites.  However, all the jumbles, with the exception of the one for “hermit”, seem to be new.  The answer letter layout had me stumped for a while.  I had to write out 3 Ts, 3 As, 2 Os, etc., etc.  Then I started writing out some probable words:  TO, THE, HAT.  I looked at the list of single letters, and then it hit me!  The cartoon is a great beach scene, with the classic sinking sailboat on the horizon.  A very satisfying Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
