(A truly stinky pun!  I believe Noah was a farmer, but he probably had a little bit of fisherman in him.  In his original version of his story, he saved his wife and kids and the family pets . . . in a row boat.

There were no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles were.  Even though “vowel” is a relatively new clue word, they’ve used today’s jumble of it before.  The answer letter layout was pretty impressive.  But, you can’t have Noah without ARK-something, so getting this answer didn’t require much effort.  A fine, Biblical cartoon though!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Instead of seeing the rug being pulled from under us, we can learn to dance on a shifting carpet.”   —   Thomas Crum

(Still . . . a little tricky for those with osteoporosis!  All kidding aside, all he’s really saying is we need to be mentally sharp and be willing to adapt.  Stunt people can be hit by a speeding car, because they know when to leave their feet, how to push and roll off, and how to land.  Of course, this is a pretty extreme example, but it does show what people are capable of.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
