(This one got me for a while, folks.  I almost put this out there for you guys to give me the answer.  There were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbles came up as new for me.  I really liked the ones for “upbeat” and “mishap”.  They took some thought.  The answer letter layout was good enough to stump me for a while.  I was seeing SUPER and PIECE and SCALP.  It took me some time to see TOUPEE, because I wasn’t seeing why it would be within quotation marks.  But, after further consideration, and seeing the leftover letters:  LISCLMAPRE . . . the bells finally went off.  SMALL PRICE!  I think I was just too tired to solve this one today, and I ultimately just got lucky, at the eleventh hour. 

Cute cartoon.  I don’t think I’d go for the Moe Howard if I were him!  There was some guy – team executive, I think – in the Sports Page a few weeks ago that really cracked me up.  I’m not sure if he was wearing a very dark toupee, or he just dyed his hair very dark, but it really stood out . . . against his snow white beard!  I was like:  Really?  This is a good look to you?  It was kind of like going out somewhere in a nice suit and tie . . . but forgetting the pants.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
