(Are the guys getting some kind of royalty from CBS for this one???  Kinda like that Lucy Liu.  It’s a cute pun.  There were no new clue words today, and only the jumbles for “elect” and “banter” came up as new.  I thought all of the jumbles were challenging.  The answer letter layout was okay, but not great.  The setup pretty much gives you the answer, and the answer letter layout didn’t do much to throw us off balance.  The cartoon is fun, but it doesn’t show the implement, used by James, assuming he is the guilty party, to get the spit wad to the chalk board.  If I were James I’d ask for my barrister!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

He would have hidden the straw Unc!!! I had to back into mortal. That word absolutely stumped me. Fortunately, I figured out the answer so I could back into mortal! Great jumbler. I love Sherlock! LL

Actually, the straw was found, but it was crushed! James’ attorney is going to go with a familiar defense: If it does not spit, you must acquit!
