“Nonsense wakes up the brain cells. And it helps develop a sense of humor, which is awfully important in this day and age.” — Theodor Geisel
(Dr. Seuss is lucky that he didn’t make it to today’s world of political “correctness” and zero tolerance. Say something even mildly humorous these days and there is bound to be someone who will take offense. For me, banning language is naive, short-sighted, and just plain lazy. Open dialog requires the full use of language. Even hurtful words can be used in intellectual discussions, as long as they are not hurled as epithets. And, to all my uninitiated, myopic, and energy challenged readers . . . go suck an egg! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

This Cryp was by no means a pushover, and Thursday’s (with the sesquipedalian term for “weathermen”) is even less so. The anonymous setters are giving me, at least, a workout!
I guess yesterday’s wasn’t a gimme either, hal. But, today’s was almost sinister! — YUR
