Visual Description: The idyllic lily pond.
GAMIE = IMAGE, DORPO = DROOP, RENYRO = ORNERY, WULLAF = LAWFUL — Giving us: IDPOA
Clue/Question: The frog couldn’t build a deck where he lived, but he was able to make a – – –
Answer: “PADIO“
(I guess the frogs’ coop board was really strict, huh? I think the fish looking on must be a board member, because he/she does NOT look pleased! And, old Claude is completely oblivious to the animal politics playing out in front of him.
Hey, guess what, folks? There were no new clue words today. And, only two of the jumbles were new. We’ve definitely seen “gamie” and “wullaf” before, but not “dorpo” or “renyro”. Our old friend ralis95 can get kind of “ornery” at times. Especially when yer uncle fails to read his email!
The answer letter layout was great, for the size of the answer. The quotation marks were the biggest clue though. The cartoon is loaded with little details. The frogs are sitting on what looks like Adirondack chairs, next to a tiki torch, holding little cocktails. The artist has a little beret, and he’s holding a palette, while standing at his easel. And, the pond is surrounded by some kind of weeping willows. Great job, Jeff. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
