Answer:  SHAKE IT

(I’m not too good at shaking my hips, but if I shake my head when I’m sick . . . Hoo, boy!  I can sympathize with the girl.  There were no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles came up as new.  I’m not counting the one for “kayak”, because that’s the alpha jumble for the word.  Verified with the ralis95 clue word database!  The answer letter layout was good . . . for a seven letter answer.  It just didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.  Sometimes Mondays are like that.  Not too challenging.  I do like the cartoon.  Especially the guy in the background.  He looks like he doesn’t care if the hula is good, or not.  He’s just enjoying the outfits!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Acquiring a dog may be the only opportunity a human ever has to choose a relative.”   —   Mordecai Siegal (Sometimes though pets are kind of thrust upon us, like when my step-son dropped off his six month old shepherd-shelty mix, while he ran off to Cancun for Spring break.  He ate about half of my wife’s shoes, chewed the leg off of a couch, and routinely ran off to the neighboring board and turnout place, and rolled about in their manure pile.  Believe me, it was kind of hard to love that dog . . . at first.  But eventually, we became pack members.  Oh, yeah.  I forgot to mention that, initially, my wife was terribly afraid of dogs.  Soon after my son’s graduation, Boone stopped being my son’s dog, and was officially “our dog”.  Boone ended up being a real talker, who mainly liked conversing with my wife . . . his mom.  For much of his life he was clearly the fastest dog in the world.  I’m not kidding.  That dog ran like he was shot out of a rifle.  He could have easily beaten a greyhound, on a short track.  Eventually, he grew old.  Slowed down, and sadly, even lost his voice.  His once booming bark had been relegated to a raspy kind of yap.  But, he was as loyal a dog as you’ll ever find.  He lived to the ripe old age of 17 years, 3 months.  And, I think he lived his last year, or so, completely out of loyalty.  Boone didn’t want to let us down, and he didn’t.  If anything, we kind of let him down.  But, my wife and daughter wouldn’t hear of it, whenever I brought up the idea of taking him to his final trip to the vet.  So, he died at home . . . at the foot of my wife’s bed.  Ever vigilant.  Ever loyal.  Calling my daughter at college, to tell her that her “brother” had passed was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.  It was the first time I had cried in 40 years.  As hard as I may had become in life, I felt no shame.  Boone was deserving of my tears.  He was family.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR PS.  Our Boonie looked a lot like the dog above, but he was generally darker.  Though his muzzle eventually turned totally white.   —   YUR
