(Another toughie. Maybe the guys are taking a page from the Will Shortz playbook, and making the jumbles harder as the week goes on. If that’s the case, maybe I can semi-retire and only post the spoilers for later in the week! You guys don’t really need to come here for the easy ones anyway. We shall see.
No new clue words today, and only the jumbles for “length” and “ironic” are coming up as new, for me. For some reason the one for “after” always kind of gets me. I keep seeing FRATE, as if FREIGHT could be spelled that way. Sure, I know better, but . . . The answer letter layout was a jumble masterpiece! It definitely did not give the answer away. I had to think a bit to solve this. The cartoon is great. I love the clown, the acrobat, the ringmaster, and the human cannonball! Good stuff. I hate all the political correctness surrounding circuses these days! It’s like those wiseguys who always have to point out that Puff, The Magic Dragon is – debatably – about smoking pot. Can’t it just be a sweet song about a young child’s imagination, and the inevitable loss of innocence ? I don’t like it when people going screwing around with my childhood memories. Just enjoy the simple pleasures, and shut the fudge up! LOL! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

UR, what, you think we pop in just for answers?? The day just wouldn’t be right if we didn’t get our daily fix of your wit and wisdom! When I finish the puzzle and read your thoughts on all things jumble, all is well in my jumble-verse, and I’m guessing many would ditto that! =) ..jenn
Ironic got me, and I would have sworn we’d had it recently. Come to think of it, I’ve felt that way about a couple of “new” words lately. Maybe I’ve seen them in one of the many Just Jumble jumblers I’ve worked lately. Love that APP!
I had to check in to make sure that my answer was actually correct today. I get it, but it seemed off.
Semi-retiring?! I know it takes a lot to keep the blog going Unc. And we appreciate it. And semi-retiring is much better than you retiring completely!
OMG, today someone is always reading something into nothing. It is crazy out there.
I’m disappearing for about a week. Will miss my jumblers! A book of jumblers and crosswords will have to do.
Take care…LL
