Answer:  REALITY CHECK

(Not bad.  Not bad at all.  But, it kinda feels like a re-run.  We did have a new clue word today, in “merely”.  And the only returning jumble, that I could verify, was the one for “chaos”.  The answer letter layout was another top-notch jumble.  Nicely cryptic.  And, it was a great cartoon.  But, what is “Chipati”?  Is that a Chicago thing?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Personality has power to uplift, power to depress, power to curse, and power to bless.”   —   Paul Harris

(Wow!  I don’t know about you guys, but I thought this one was a tough solve, too.  Maybe not as tough as yesterday’s, but right up there.  I didn’t think there were any gimmes in this puzzle.  I figured the N had to be the A, and the B was most likely the S, and took it from there.  About midway through I realized the repeating word was “power” and the first word was “personality”, but this was nearly a letter for letter solve.  Very often I figure out the E and the T right off the bat, but save them for the very end.  It makes the more mundane ones a little more challenging.  But, I couldn’t get away with that today.  This appears to be the first Paul Harris quote since I’ve been posting these spoilers.  He was the founder of the Rotary Club, which used to be a pretty big deal when I was a kid – and before.  It’s still out there.  It has a wonderful mission statement, and it seems like an organization that we could all benefit from with its resurgence.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
