“Spend some time this weekend on home improvement; improve your attitude toward your family.” — Bo Bennett
(No “the”, no “I” or “a”. There were a good number of double letters, and I even suspected the author was Bo Bennett, and I felt pretty good about the U being the E, but I struggled to get today’s cryptoquote. I even suspected the RYGJ was YOUR, but it took me SO long get this started. ATTITUDE finally led me to IMPROVEMENT. Did anyone else struggle with this??? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Did anyone struggle? Well, I sure did. I’ve never heard of Bo Bennett, and figured that double latter at the end of the last name was either L (such as Lowell, which I realize isn’t seven letters, or S). It just seemed like that repeated word might be YOUR, so I put it in after more than five minutes of staring. And viola – the rest immediately fell into place.

This one *was* a little harder than usual. Like you, I noticed the double letters in the attribution and suspected BO BENNETT (we’ve had something from him before, haven’t we?), and the E at the end of the second and third words seemed right. But yes, it wasn’t a secure feeling until ATTITUDE and IMPROVE/MENT came through. It was a nice challenge, not *fishy* like the third Jumble word!
Art and hal,
Well, if two of my esteemed peers had a tough time with it, then it MUST have been a difficult cryptoquote! Yes, we have seen Bo Bennett, not too long ago. But, he’s certainly not a household name! (I often have trouble solving SALMON. It’s just one of those words for me.) — YUR
