Clue/Question: They were selling out of Beatles albums in – – –
Answer: RECORD TIME
(A stinker of a pun, if there ever was one! We actually have a new clue word today, in “vowel”. ralis95 can add this to his world famous clue word database! And, all of today’s jumbles appear to be new. The answer letter layout was nicely cryptic. And, I suppose, it could have stumped some of our younger readers, who have only known CDs and MP3 players and I-Phones. Great cartoon. A marvelous 1960s “mod” scene! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

I cannot believe that vowel and cherub handcuffed me!
It was like “duh” when I figured them out. Grand, grand, grand puzzler!!!
And it reminded me of a past experience. EONS ago I was in the waiting room at my derms office, a young girl was looking through a magazine. In a somewhat amazed voice she commented to her mom, “mom, I didn’t know Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings!” I was astounded and destroyed. She made me feel like a dinosaur. AND, I could not imagine someone not knowing who the Beatles were! 🙂 LL
