“Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed, its own lesson on how to improve your performance the next time.” — Malcolm X
(We all have the ability to learn from our mistakes. The answers may not always be right in front of our faces, but if we dig deep enough we’ll discover where we went wrong, and/or what we could have done better. This is the first Malcolm X quotation since I’ve been posting these spoilers. I hope to see more of them. Besides the great message, it’s a very efficient quote. Including the author’s name, it uses every letter except G, J, Q and Z. It also puts me in mind of the movie Groundhog Day, with Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell, directed by Harold Ramis. Wonderful movie! It takes Bill Murray’s character a boatload of do-overs to get things right, but he learns more and more each time. And, each time he becomes just that much better of a person. His transformation, from a self-centered, insensitive, narcissistic jerk to a totally observant and compassionate human being, is both remarkable and highly entertaining. If you’ve never seen the movie you have to add it to your to do list. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
