(This one was tougher than it looked.  On the little boy it looks more like a cowboy hat.  And, I didn’t initially see the quotation marks.  Probably, because I had to print this from my newspaper’s web site, since the snow prevented the regular delivery.  I’m getting too old for all this shoveling nonsense!  I don’t know how this is possible, but my copy of the ralis95 clue word database says that “archer” is a new clue word.  If you had bet me money, I would’ve swore that it was an old reliable .  All the jumbles are coming up as new, for me.  The answer letter layout was nifty.  It didn’t give anything away.  Nice, homey cartoon.  Grampa reminds me some of the late, great James Garner.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
