(An old fashioned groaner of a pun!  There were no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles appear new, to me.  Only “nugts” could be verified on my end.    I had some trouble with both “eatery” and “exodus”.  Not to the extent of having to back into them, but they weren’t gimmes, by any means.  The answer letter layout was good, but not super.  The cartoon was just kind of basic stuff today, too.  Nothing to get too excited about.  We’s gots ta take da mediocre wit da brilliant, folks!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
