Answer: “MONKEE“ BUSINESS
(Hey! Hey! This is right out of my childhood. I was a huge fan. It didn’t matter to me that they were a contrived, made for TV band. They were young and funny. And, their songs were very catchy. There was something to like about each of them. Davey was the cute one: pretty boy looks, short, and a British accent. Mickey was the handsome, but rubber-faced clown. Peter was the loveable oddball. And, Mike was the level-headed, All-American country boy. He kind of had to play Moe to the other 3 stooges. Mickey was my favorite. Initially, almost all their songs were written by Boyce & Hart and Neil Diamond, but later on they wrote more of their own. People did, and still do, question their talent as a band, but they were unquestionably a well orchestrated and successfully marketed phenomenon.
No new clue words today. ralis95 can rest easy. But, all of the jumbles came up as new, for me. I was able to get them all immediately. The answer letter layout was really a first class effort. A truly great big jumble, that gave nothing away. For me though, the answer was pretty obvious. Like I said earlier, this one was right in my wheelhouse. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. No Monkee links came up! :-p — YUR
