(Aah!  Pretty nifty sports pun!  I like it.  There were no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles appear to be new.  Only “teymss” came up as being used before.  I thought the answer letter layout was another great jumble.  Very cryptic, and it doesn’t give anything away.  I bet a lot of you had to think some to get today’s answer.  Another superior cartoon, from our other buddy.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Oh yes, the thinking cap was on…then my husb jumped ahead and gave me an answer. I had sweet, but had not yet discovered spot. I was going to have him check the blog to make sure sweet was one of the words. And he blurted, “sweet spot.” Close 🙂

Studio got me. I worked and worked on it. Dare I say diabolical??

    Another fun puzzler! LL
