Visual Description: The soft, medium and hard/firm sell.
SERDS = DRESS, FUNTI = UNFIT, DREEEG = DEGREE, BARBOS = ABSORB — Giving us: RSSUTDEEASR
Clue/Question: He asked if the mattress came with a warranty, and the salesman told him he could – – –
Answer: REST ASSURED
(A little corny. A little predictable. But, I liked the jumbling of the clue words. All but the one for “unfit” are new, from what I could see. None of the clue words are new though. I really like “absorb”, and I had to back into “degree”! I just was not seeing it this morning. The answer letter layout would have been tougher had both sets of words had been switched. UTRSSASRDEE seems a little more cryptic to me. The cartoon was a little on the basic side. I think Jeff probably drew this lying down! JKLOL! That’s it, you Jumble Junkies. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
