(Hey! A nice – one time only – appearance by Cathy Guisewite! There were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbling seems new to me. I struggled some with “salmon”. The answer letter layout was swell. If Cathy was still publishing Cathy then we’d see this same theme for a week, or two, or . . . You get the picture. I always considered her the Howard Stern of cartoonists. Not vulgar, mind you. Just that she would run a gag into the ground. Now, this Sandra Bell-Lundy does the same thing with her strip, Between Friends. Unless it’s part of a storyline, can we please just move it along, ladies! There. I’ve gotten that off my chest. SALMON didn’t jump out at me either, Unc Rave … I knew something was a little *fishy* about that word! However, the cartoon was so indicative that the secret words called out before I had to unscramble anything. Guest cartoons are a nice touch.
I struggled with “bisect” enjoyed Cathy’s visit with us.
