(Unfortunately, too many parents just don’t seem to get this. They feel that telling their precious child “No” will somehow stifle their delicate imagination. At least that is the excuse many of them use. I think it’s more a combination of being lazy and being scared that their kid will resent them. Developing minds need limitations, when it comes to behavior issues. They need to learn that life is not all about their wants. There’s a whole boatload of people out there. Everybody doing their own thing, for their own gratification, results in chaos and anarchy. Cooperation and compromise is what makes for peace and harmony.
