Clue/Question: He was told his billboard would be up in time for his grand opening, but there was – – –
Answer: NO SIGN OF IT
(A nice stinky pun! And, WordPress has a problem with the word “snuck”. I don’t know what their problem is! We have another new clue word again today, in “blight”. Hoyt is really trying to keep ralis95 on his toes! Three of the jumbles are new, with only YORAF having been used before. The first thing I thought of when I saw CUSKN was SKUNK, but I caught myself before writing it down wrong. The answer letter layout was actually very good today. And, another fine Jeff Knurek cartoon. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Hey Uncle Rave…I think could have done a better job with this one had I switched FORAY and SNUCK. I thought I actually had switched them. I put arrows on the piece of paper I made the puzzle on reminding me to switch them but I didn’t switch them for some reason. That would have gotten rid of the SNIG (SIGN) in the middle of the puzzle which I think would have been a little better. It’s so odd because I remember making that switch on paper. It just didn’t make it into the final version. It’s a mystery. Thanks for everything you do. Jeff and I really appreciate it!
Great of you to bring that up, David. I saw it, but wasn’t in a highly critical mood, so I let it slide.
I just had a similar incident at work with a spreadsheet. I must have forgotten to save before closing, and I sent it off to my manager with a bunch of blank spaces. Never a good thing. I’m just lucky he was in an understanding mood. Stuff happens!
You guys are welcome. It keeps me off of facebook!
