Clue/Question: The outfielders started their own band and played – – –
Answer: CATCHY SONGS
(I thought this answer was pretty tough to get. For a couple of minutes, I thought I was going to have to put it up for you guys to bail me out. It finally dawned on me that the second word had to be “songs”. With the leftovers, I came up with “catchy”. Decent pun. All the jumbling was new to me. And, we seem to have another new clue word for the ralis95 clue word database, in “gotten”. Plain old “gotten”! The answer letter layout sure didn’t give anything away. It was a super jumble. The cartoon was rockin’ the house! Game 6 is going on as I post this! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Two new words in the first three days of this week! You mentioned before about Hoyt getting to 4000 words in the database, which I thought was a bit premature and maybe even naggy, but here he is already at an annualized rate of at least 104! Still, even at that rate, it will take him almost ten years to get to 4000. I think we should cut him a lot of slack, and let that prodigious mind of his work at his own pace and keep us all guessing as to when and how often he comes up with new words. I salute you, David Hoyt. Keep up the good work!!
Hey, Hoyt!
Four brand new clue words a day . . . until you get to 4000! ralis95 is a cream puff. I’m a task master! Get to it, brother. Chop, chop!!!
