Clue/Question: She thought that winning the $1,000 in the raffle was a – – –
Answer: GRAND PRIZE
(I was able to get today’s answer without even reading the clue/question, or even really looking at the picture. I’m sure I must have processed a glimpse of it, but just knowing that the answer was two 5-letter words, and seeing the answer letters, was enough for me today. This doesn’t happen often, but sometimes you just get a good feeling. All the clue words were tried and true. Three of the jumblings were new for me, with only the one for “rigid” showing as being used before. All things considered, I think both sets of clue words being switched would have made for a better answer letter layout. Splendid cartoon though. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
