“Don’t tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and let them surprise you with their results.” — George S. Patton
(Easy solve. But, considering the source, kind of a strange quote. Of course, big important generals – with very large egos – can’t be bothered by giving instructions . . . only orders. But, then you have to be prepared for an outcome other than the one you were hoping for. You might be pleasantly surprised, or you might be terribly disappointed. The saving grace of this quote is that in the military everything is very regimented. Everyone in his command should’ve been trained to do things pretty much the same way, and to an extent, even taught to think the same way. In war you can’t really afford to micro-manage anything. You have to have a certain/high amount of trust in your subordinates’ – and their subordinates’ – abilities. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
