We’ve had our cliches framed and hung on the wall so now for conversation we don’t have to talk at all.”   —   Roger McGough

(Our first Roger McGough quote since I’ve been posting these spoilers.  It’s a very British, dry humor quote . . . and I like it!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR  😉

Why can’t we get the jumble earlier?

Because this isn’t a paying job, carl. It’s just a hobby. I do it as I have time. I lead a fairly boring life, but I do have a wife, a couple of “kids”, a dog, and sometimes even employment. Starting October 2nd these might be posted even later, or I might give it up altogether. The whole thing is too much effort, for too little reward. Be well, carl. — YUR

Don’t give it up, Unc Rave. Where else would we turn for witty commentary on the daily Cryp and Jumble, and occasional feedback from the Jumble setters? — hal
