FUTSF = STUFF, SIDYA = DAISY, VIRATI = TRIVIA, NEKLEN = KENNEL — Giving us: STFDAITIAENE
Clue/Question: They couldn’t figure out why the woman had passed out . . . they didn’t have the – – –
Answer: FAINTEST IDEA
(Very good and stinky pun! We actually had two new clue words again today, in “stuff” and “trivia”. Stuffy is in the ralis95 clue word database, but not “stuff”! I backed into “trivia”. I just don’t have the patience to write out a whole bunch of possible combinations these days. If I don’t see it in a few tries I just move on, then solve the answer, then come back with the missing letters to get the word. It’s a little cheesy, but it’s more expedient. The funny thing is I’m pretty good at “trivia”! The jumbling of “kennel” was new to me, but we’ve definitely seen the jumbling of “daisy” before. The answer letter layout made for another great jumble. I don’t think it gave anything away. The cartoon, dialog and Clue/Question did a great job of setting up the answer. I suspect the woman’s spell was related somehow to her being on her cell phone. She must have been so involved that she forgot to exhale! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
