“You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.” — Christopher Columbus
(This is the first quotation from Christopher Columbus since I’ve been posting these spoilers. It’s a good quote that can be applied to many other aspects of life. We all know, now, that the ocean can be crossed, so we don’t necessarily need that courage. But, the first people who went into space needed that same kind of courage. People facing death need that courage. Crossing into the unknown, for most of us, is very daunting. Those are the big things, of course. There are plenty of lesser challenges that involve breaching our personal unknowns. And, we all need to just suck it up and go for it. That’s when we progress. That’s when we grow. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
It never occurred to me that we had any direct quotes from Christopher Columbus! A few weeks early for Columbus Day, though …
