Answer: CALL IT QUITS
(Do not call lists don’t seem to make a bit of difference. These vultures always seem to find a way around such things. They’re worse than those people who work in those small kiosks at shopping malls. Sure, they might occasionally grab you. But, then you have the right to smack them! These tele-terrorists act with impunity. I never EVER used to utilize the caller ID feature of my phone, same with my wife, but nowadays we don’t answer anything that we can’t readily identify. You would think that it would be in the best interest of the more legitimate companies – including bill collectors – to weed out these bad apples, because their calls are going unanswered as a result of these tele-terrorists.
We may have a new clugh word today, in “lazily”. It seems familiar to me, but it’s not in my ralis95 clue word database soft copy of 04/30/13, nor my hard copy of 12/31/13. All of the jumblings seem new to me. The answer letter layout was a thing of beauty. Nicely cryptic. And, the cartoon almost makes me feel bad for the telemarketer . . . but I don’t. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
