Answer:  CHARGED

(Throw the book at the scumbag!  These leeches are making life more difficult for just about everybody.  I heard this morning that they even breached Home Depot’s system.  Enough already.

There may be a new clue word in “aback”.  It’s not in my ralis95 soft copy of  4/30/13, nor my hard copy of 12/31/13.  After that . . . I couldn’t tell you.  All the jumbling appears to be new.  The answer letter layout was fine.  It’s not easy hiding a seven letter word, especially when the cartoon and clue/question are so leading.  The clerk thought it was funny when the perp was buying five tires, but not that the credit card read Mrs. Nussbaum.  That is one observant clerk!  LOL.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Big shots are only little shots who keep shooting.”   —   Christopher Morley

(Kind of a surprisingly simplistic message of perseverance, from someone who liked to think differently.  Certainly, there IS merit in perseverance, but you also need talent . . . and a little luck, in order to succeed.  I like his final message, that was published shortly after his death.  “Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to continually be part of unanimity.”  Now, THAT’S a message!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
