(One of my favorite – and oft used – idioms!  No new clue words today, though many of the jumblings were new.  I struggled some getting “metric”  It’s like the ’70s all over again!  I liked both “outing” and “dental”.  The answer letter layout was another splendid jumble.  I don’t think it gave anything away.  Great cartoon.  Nice range of ranges there, Jeff.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(Okay.  This one I was able to figure out.  Friday’s was weird for me.  I was so certain that my answer was right, but I was wrong.  I think I’ve tried to warn you folks about the perils of certainty, in previous comments.  Other than death and taxes, nothing is certain.  I still think that, depending how you look at it, my answer could be right.  But, the ruling has come down from the Creator!  And, who can argue with the Creator?

No new clue words today!  I am once more able to check these things, as I am back in my abode.  All of the jumblings appear to be new though.  None of them troubled me any.  The answer letter layout was very good, especially considering the length of the answer.  The cartoon is reminiscent of The Who!  Truly one of the top ten rock bands of all time.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Kirsten Cohen

Nothing can so alienate a voter from the political system as backing a winning candidate.”   —   Mark B. Cohen

(Because, now everything that goes wrong, during his/her administration, becomes your fault!  YOU voted for them!  I don’t know Mark B. Cohen, and Zemanta did not provide a picture of him.  I don’t know who Kirsten Cohen is either, but I’m guessing she’s a whole lot easier on the eyes than old Mark.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
